Form and Function

It all began as a simple room addition. Elizabeth and Bruce Wilson wanted more room for entertaining and decided to turn their deck into a sun-filled dining area. They began asking their friends what remodeler they would recommend. As a busy doctor with a successful practice and an even busier mother of two boys, Elizabeth wanted to work with someone who really understood her, someone she could trust to handle both the building process and the design of the project. When she began hearing the name Kerry Bramon Remodeling and Design over and over, she knew they must be the ones.

The Starting Point

Kerry Bramon and in-house designer Angela Holloway met with Elizabeth and Bruce and the first question they asked was this. "What bothers you the most?"

"I kept talking about how important it was to me to have a unified space where the family could be together and Kerry immediately pointed to the upper cabinets in the kitchen that were blocking our view of the rest of the space. Kerry and Angela's vision, was to get rid of the upper cabinets to allow the entire space to flow into one," Elizabeth said.

The discussion expanded to include a remodel of the entire kitchen, the entryway, mudroom and the laundry room, changing a segmented space of many rooms into one open space of many uses.
