Our house on a small lake between Columbia and Jefferson City was constructed in the mid ‘80s and had been renovated a number of times. The house was badly in need of an update and a reconfiguration of the main floor. We entertain family and friends all summer long and needed smart, easy solutions for heavy traffic flow.
The master bathroom was a large room that included a closet/dressing room space. It was an awkward, ugly space that offered very little in terms of storage or comfort. We gutted the room and split it into a bathroom with a separate closet. The shower boasts two separate shower heads and is a welcome upgrade from the awkward spa-tub we removed. The closet is concealed by a pocket door. KBRD installed movable, lightweight wire shelving and a laundry chute to the basement.
